5:00pm: A man was walking near the corner of 3rd St. and Palou Ave. when he was reportedly robbed at gunpoint by two other men. There were no arrests and no injuries.

7:28pm: A woman was walking near the corner of Golden Gate Ave. and Pierce St. when a man ran up behind her and reportedly stole her cell phone. No arrests have been made and there were no injuries.

7:45pm: A man was reportedly pushed by another man on the 1600 block of Hayes St. The suspect then allegedly stole the man’s cell phone. No arrests have been made and there were no injuries.

7:50pm: A man was reportedly robbed by three other men near Hyde and Ellis St. One of the men allegedly grabbed the victim’s shirt and took his cell phone. The first man was arrested but the cell phone was not recovered. There were no injuries.

11:10pm: A man was walking on the 100 block of 6th St. when he was reportedly punched by another man who was also with an accomplice. SFPD immediately responded and arrested both men. The victim’s cell phone was then recovered. There was one non-life threatening injury.

Thursday, 9/9/10

2:45am: A man was walking down Post, between Larkin and Polk St. when he was reportedly pushed by another man. The suspect then allegedly stole the man’s phone. The suspect was later taken into custody. There were no injuries.

3:00am: A man was approached by two other men on the 3100 block of 16th St. and was reportedly grabbed by them. The two men then allegedly pushed the victim’s head onto the ground. One of the men took the victim’s cash and fled. No arrests have been made and there were non-life threatening injuries.

8:10am: Officers arriving on scene of unrelated call on the 200 block of Blythdale heard numerous gun shots and believed they were being fired upon. Officers took cover, peered around a building corner and observed a man in his 20s (who they say was the only person in the area) coming from area where shots were fired. When the suspect saw the officers, they say he ran away and into an open apartment. The apartment was searched with negative results for the suspect; however a quantity of marijuana was discovered. The search of the area where the suspect was initially seen running from revealed casings and gun. No gunshot victims located at the scene or hospitals. Cops ended their search at around 10:40am.

8:17am: Two suspects reportedly approached a cyclist at Mission and Russia, and reportedly threatened to stab the bike owner if he didn’t had over his wheels. After a struggle, they reportedly took the bike. No injuries, and an arrest was made.

9:10pm: Two undescribed men reportedly pushed a 51-year-old woman down and took her purse at Scott and Oak. Her purse was later found but was missing property. The victim wasn’t injured, and there have been no arrests.

10:08pm: A woman in her 50s was approaching her residence on the 2000 block of 18th Street when a man approached her from behind and demanded her bag, which she relinquished. No one got hurt, no one was arrested.
