Monday, 9/20/10

10:40am: A woman was on the corner of 26th Ave. & California St. when she was reportedly robbed by a man at gunpoint. An arrest was made and there were no injuries.

1:00pm: A woman was walking near the corner of Ocean and Phelan Ave. when she was reportedly assaulted by a man who knocked her to the ground as he walked past. The man then allegedly tried to rob her, but without success. No arrests have been made and there were minor injuries.

8:40pm: A man was walking on the 300 block of McAllister St.when he was reportedly robbed by another man. No arrests have been made and there were no injuries.

10:20pm: A man was walking on the 2100 block of Mission St. when another man reportedly ran up and stole his cell phone. No arrests have been made and there were no injuries.

10:24pm: A group of three people were walking on the 1000 block of Fitzgerald Ave. when they were approached by four other people who reportedly tried to rob them by reaching into their pockets. No arrests have been made and there were no injuries.

Tuesday, 9/21/10

12:45am: A man reportedly got into an argument with another man on the corner of Jefferson and Taylor St. When an additional man tried to intervene, he was reportedly assaulted by two men and so was another man. The victims suffered minor injuries. No arrests have been made.

5:50pm: A man was arrested on the corner of 18th and Castro St. due to suspicion of selling narcotics.

6:23pm: A woman was walking on the 1000 block of Webster St. when a man reportedly pushed her and stole her cell phone. An arrest has been made and there were no injuries.

6:45pm: A man was on the corner of Clay and Front St. talking on his cell phone when another man reportedly punched him in the face and stole his cell phone. No arrests have been made and there were no injuries.

7:50pm: A man was answering his door on the 100 block of 9th St. when another man reportedly pushed his way into the man’s apartment. The suspect took money and then brandished a knife at the victim. No arrests have been made and there were no injuries.

7:50pm: A woman was getting off the bus at the corner of Golden Gate and Masonic Ave. when a man reportedly stole her cell phone as he disembarked the bus, as well. No arrests have been made and there were no injuries.

9:30pm: A man was arrested on the corner of Jefferson and Jones St. for suspicion of possession of incendiary devices.

Wednesday, 9/22/10

1:40pm: Two men boarded Muni at O’Farrell and Jones, allegedly without paying their fares. When the driver told them to come forward and pay, they instead, SFPD says, grabbed a passenger’s laptop from her hands and fled the scene. No one’s been arrested.

7:05pm: Two teenaged boys were walking on the first block of Grove Street when two adult men reportedly stole one teen’s cell phone, and the other’s headphones. The suspects then fled on foot, and haven’t been arrested.

8:06pm: A man reportedly exited a Muni bus on the 1200 block of Market, and attempted to cross the street, though police reports say he was at neither a light nor a crosswalk. He was struck by a westbound vehicle and reportedly sustained a possible broken neck, scalp laceration, and fractured pelvis, which police describe as non life threatening.

11:05pm: A man was walking on Excelsior approaching Madrid, when another man reportedly overpowered him, went through his pockets, and allegedly stole his cash. The suspect was arrested.

Thursday, 9/23/10

12:40 am: A young woman was walking at Guerrero and 15th when a Hispanic man in his mid-20s reportedly pushed her to the ground as he grabbed her purse, before escaping in a waiting beige car with a license plate number containing “4LMP.”

2:26am: A man was walking at the 400 block of Hyde when he was reportedly attacked from behind by suspects wielding what SFPD describes as a “metal object.” The suspects allegedly took his wallet and fled. The victim ended up with a black eye, and the suspects haven’t been arrested.
