In honor of the long weekend, BART is running a Sunday schedule on Labor Day and increasing train size for weekend events. The A’s are playing two homesteads against their AL rivals, with a three-game series against the Angels all this weekend, and another with the Seattle Mariners starting Monday. In terms of other sporting events, Cal faces UC Davis this Saturday and BART is ready with longer trains available.
Also planned this weekend is Oakland’s LGBTQ Pride Festival, on Sunday. BART will have extra staff on-hand at their 19th St. Station to help with crowd control. And Sunday marks the final day of Wicked at the Orpheum Theater in SF. Regardless of what you attend, BART’s got your transit options covered.
