earthq.jpgThe U.S. Geological Survey is reporting an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 2.3 struck this morning in Sonoma County.

According to the USGS, the temblor rattled an area around The Geysers at about 5 a.m.
The quake was centered about 2 miles north of The Geysers with a depth of 1.9 miles, according to the USGS.
