An elderly San Francisco man who was reported missing after disappearing from his Mission District home last month has been found safe, police said today.
Roger Lopez, 74, was found at a shelter in the 500 block of Fifth Street, police Officer Albie Esparza said.
Police had been concerned about Lopez, who suffers from dementia, uses a walker and only speaks Spanish. He had last been seen leaving his home the morning of July 26.
Lopez has been returned home, Esparza said.
