Thursday, 8/19/10
12:17am: A man and three other men reportedly got into an argument on the corner of Ellis and Jones St. The victim allegedly punched one of the other men and the other man reportedly brandished a gun and then shot him multiple times, killing the victim. The suspects reportedly fled northbound on Jones St. and then westbound on O’Farrell. The gun was allegedly dumped in a mailbox in the 500 block of O’Farrell. No arrests have been made.
1:03am: A man was reportedly sleeping in his bedroom on the 1700 block of Bush St. when he awoke to find another man in his bedroom, searching through his belongings. The victim reportedly yelled at the man to leave, which he did, with two other men. No arrests have been made and there were no injuries.
2:00-4:30am: A woman reportedly woke up in the middle of the night in her home on the 1800 block of Turk St. to find her lights on and front door open. Some of her personal items were reportedly taken. There were no arrests and no injuries.
11:35am: Two men reportedly approached a gas station clerk on the 800 block of Turk St. and demanded cash. The men then allegedly reached into the cash register and took an unknown amount of money. No arrests have been made and there were no injuries.
3:21pm: Two men were reportedly in their living room on 1209 Alemany Blvd. when they heard a noise. One of the men called out, heard a rustling noise, and reportedly saw a man fleeing out of the home’s rear window. There were no injuries or property stolen, although the rear window screen had been cut. No arrests have been made.
6:39pm: A man was reportedly in a verbal altercation with someone on the corner of Capitol and Lobos St. The suspect allegedly shot the other man, who was transported to the hospital and died as a result of his injuries. An unoccupied truck was also reportedly shot one time. Two guns have been recovered. No arrests have been made and there was one fatality.
10:40pm: A man reportedly walked up to a woman on the 3700 block of Divisadero St. and took her cell phone, then ran off. No arrests have been made and there were no injuries.
Friday, 8/20/10
12:11am: An unknown suspect reportedly shot a man on the corner of Ellsworth and Alemany Blvd. No arrests have been made and there was one fatality.
12:16am: A man reportedly put a gun to another man’s back on the corner of 21st and Treat St. and took his backpack, cellphone and wallet. No arrests have been made and there were no injuries.
12:28am: Two men reportedly pepper sprayed another man and stole his cell phone on the 100 block of 14th St. No arrests have been made and there were minor injuries.
12:44am: A man was reportedly walking on 6th St. towards Jessie St. when he noticed an altercation between several others. The man walked by the suspects and was reportedly stabbed in the arm by one of them. He was then transported to the hospital for his non-life threatening injury. No arrests have been made.
