image-20100325-qspan2afdbos7618xkry_t_w240_h250.jpgWay back in 2004, San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom and his now ex-wife Kimberly Guilfoyle had a photo shoot with Harper’s Bazaar, a move that later inspired the Chron’s editorial board to call Newsom a “glamour boy.”

Apparently San Franciscans are not the only ones dazzled by Newsom’s glamour – a sports bar in China was allegedly using one of his photos from the shoot on its website. According to the Chronicle’s Matier and Ross, the “Hustlers Lounge” in Shanghai chose to use a photo of Newsom and Guilfoyle posing at a pool table at Tosca Café. They say the photo was also used on a flyer by the club (thanks to reader Dennis for sending in this link to the flier), promoting Expo 2010 in Shanghai.

While M&R (linklessly, of course) say that the photo is still on the Hustlers Lounge website as of Sunday, July 11, we couldn’t find it anywhere. Neither the lounge nor the mayor’s office gave a comment to the Chronicle about the photo – maybe it has already been taken down?

Check out the lounge for yourself. Does it seem like the kind of place our teetotaling mayor might have hit on his recent visit to the city?
