Friday, 7/16/10

policeblotter_sfa.jpg3:34 pm: One male reportedly assaulted another man with a knife in the Tenderloin at Turk and Hyde. No one was arrested and there were minor injures.

10:15 pm: On the first block of Alta a man allegedly entered the 3rd floor of a residence though a sliding glass window. The resident startled the suspect causing him to flee the scene. No arrests were made.

Saturday, 7/17/10:

2:15 am: A young male reportedly approached another man’s vehicle at Vallejo and Sansome and demanded the driver’s jacket, shoes, and vehicle keys. The armed suspect then stole the victim’s vehicle and fled the scene. The SFPD think this crime might be connected to the next one on this list. There has been no arrest.

2:45 am:At 5th and Harrison a single male reportedly approached the passenger side of a vehicle, brandished a handgun, and demanded money. The suspect allegedly opened the passenger side door and stole a duffel bag containing $500 then fled the scene. No arrests were made.

2:57 am: At the 400 Block of Castro st., 4 young men reportedly assaulted and robbed a male victim. One assailant allegedly cut the victim with a knife and the other suspects took his bag. Suspects fled the scene, no arrests were made.

6:00 pm: In Golden Gate Park, a man sleeping behind the Beach Chalet restaurant woke up to find that he was bleeding from the head. The victim was transported to the hospital for his non-life threatening injuries and no arrests were made.

7:15 pm: In the Mission, 2 men reportedly entered an undisclosed business brandishing a knife and demanding money. The clerk gave the suspect cash. No arrest made.

Sunday, 7/18/10

2:38 am: Two men were standing on the 1000 block of Sutter drinking alcoholic beverages. Three men of unknown age reportedly approached the them where there was an exchange of words. The three men then attacked one of the men, and fled the scene after the fight. No arrests were made.

Monday, 7/19/10

12:20 am: In Bayview, 2 teenagers reportedly approached a third man, and demanded the victims property. One robber had a gun, and both suspects fled the scene of the crime. No arrests or injuries.

1:14 am:Two men allegedly got into a physical altercation at the 300 Block of Baker Street when one took out a pocket knife and stabbed the other man in his left ring finger. The victim refused medical treatment, and the suspect is in custody.

2:19 am:Officers were dispatched to Francisco and Mason regarding shots being fired. Upon arrival, officers found several shell casings, but no victims. 50 minutes later, the police are notified that there is a walk-in shooting victim at a Hospital in Oakland. The victim was allegedly uncooperative with police questioning, but did state that the incident occurred in San Francisco at a bar near Bay and Columbus. At approximately 4:13 am, police are notified by a different hospital in Oakland about another walk-in shooting victim. This victim is also allegedly being uncooperative.
