sfpd_arrestcuffs.jpgA 25-year-old man who was fatally stabbed in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park Sunday night was identified today by the San Francisco medical examiner’s office as Adam Noyes.

The stabbing was reported at about 9:40 p.m. Sunday near Conservatory and John F. Kennedy drives, police Officer Albie Esparza said.

A 65-year-old man flagged down passing cars and told a passerby that he had been stabbed. The passerby called 911, and officers arrived and found Noyes, who had also been stabbed and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man told police that Noyes had attacked him with a knife, and that he had fought back and stabbed Noyes.

The man was taken into custody. Esparza said today he did not have any new information about the suspect or any charges that will be filed against him.
