Firefighters Stair Climbing Event Celebration
On Saturday Bay Area Firefighters will climb the TransAmerica Building stairways for charity. A celebration after the event will require Washington Street between Sansome and Montgomery streets to be closed from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
No Muni routes will be affected by the closure.
Unicycle Race
The Unicycle Criterium Race will be held on Saturday from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.
The following street closures will be required:
? Battery Street between Greenwich and Vallejo streets
? Union Street between Sansome and Front streets
? Commerce Street between Front and Battery streets
? Green Street between Sansome and Front streets
? Intersections: Battery Street at Union Street, Front Street at Union Street, Battery Street at Green Street, Front Street at Green Street; Commerce Street at Battery Street and Commerce Street at Front Street
No Muni routes will be affected by the closures.
AIDS Walk
The annual AIDS Walk will take place on Sunday, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Golden Gate Park.
The route will be entirely within the park and take participants from Sharon Meadow, west on Kennedy Drive, south on Transverse Drive, west on Martin Luther King Drive east on Kennedy Drive to Sharon Meadow.
The north-south park entrances will be closed, except Park Presidio Boulevard and Crossover Drive. Closures for the AIDS Walk are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The 44 O’Shaughnessy Muni route will be affected.
