sffd_firefighters.jpgFirefighters in San Francisco have extinguished a small vegetation fire that burned in the city’s Mission District late Friday night.

Units responded to calls reporting flames seen near 22nd Street and San Bruno Avenue just before 11 p.m., a dispatcher with the San Francisco Fire Department said.

The fire burned vegetation and some trees before being declared under control, the dispatcher said.

No one was injured in the fire.

The cause remains under investigation.
