sffd_fire.jpgSan Francisco firefighters extinguished a one-alarm fire at 801 Grant Avenue near Clay Street, a San Francisco fire dispatcher said.

The fire was reported at 4:25 p.m. and contained around 5:10 p.m., he said.

One civilian suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene. There were no other injuries reported.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

    In a related story, two City plumbers were dispatched

    to City Hall to replace washers in a Third floor bathroom.

    They found the seat of the faucet damaged and replaced it.

    One of the plumbers suffered a minor thumb injury.

    The plumbers were on scene for 90 minutes.
