sfpd_crimescene.jpgA 17-year-old boy has been identified by the medical examiner’s office as the person who was found shot dead Saturday in his home in San Francisco’s Western Addition neighborhood.

Officers responded to a home in the 1100 block of Turk Street near Laguna Street at about 8:45 p.m. after a call from a witness reporting a pool of blood, police said.

Police found William Huertas in the pool of blood. He had been shot in the head one time, San Francisco police Officer Samson Chan said.

No suspects have been arrested.
