The Union Street Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, June 5 and Sunday, June 6 on Union Street between Gough and Steiner streets.

The following street closures will be required from midnight Saturday to midnight Sunday:

Union Street from Gough Street to Steiner Street
Octavia Street from Green Street to Filbert Street
Laguna Street from Green Street to Filbert Street
Buchanan Street from Green Street to Filbert Street
Webster Street from Green Street to Filbert Street
Intersections: Union and Octavia Street, Laguna and Webster, Buchanan and Webster

Fillmore Street will remain open for through traffic, though it may be congested due to crowds. There will be local access for residents on the impacted streets except for Union Street. Approximately 90,000 people are expected to attend the two-day event.

The following Muni routes will be affected:

22 Fillmore
30 Stockton
45 Union/Stockton

Statuto Race
On Sunday, June 6, the San Francisco Italian Athletic Club’s Statuto Race will require the following street closures from 7 to 11 a.m.

Stockton Street from Filbert Street to Union Street
Northbound Stockton Street from Lombard Street to North Point Street
Eastbound North Point from Stockton Street to the Embarcadero

Streets will re-open as the race passes.

The 39 Coit Muni route will be affected.

Saint Boniface Church Anniversary
On Saturday, June 5th, The St. Boniface Church Anniversary will require the closure of Golden Gate Avenue between Leavenworth and Jones streets from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event times will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Motorists will be detoured north on Leavenworth to east on Eddy to south on Jones Street and back to Golden Gate Avenue.

The 5 Fulton Muni route will be affected.
