A fire in the Bayview neighborhood on Saturday displaced two adults and four children, a Red Cross spokeswoman said.
The Red Cross was called to the scene at 1042 Oakdale Ave. at around midday, said Red Cross spokeswoman Patricia Peper.
Building management was able to provide another housing unit for the displaced, and Red Cross provided them with reimbursement money for food and other necessities as the individuals lost the majority of their belongings, Peper said.
The San Francisco fire department did not immediately have information available about the exact time of the fire, the cause, or whether there were any injuries reported.
