A San Francisco windsurfer rescued from the waters off Candlestick Park Friday night died on Sunday, authorities said.
The medical examiner’s office identified the woman as 66-year-old Jacqueline Kuni.
According to fire department spokeswoman Lt. Mindy Talmadge, a good Samaritan found the woman unconscious in the water off Candlestick Point at about 6:30 p.m. Friday, pulled her ashore, and began administering CPR. She was then taken to San Francisco General Hospital.
Kuni was pronounced dead at the hospital shortly before 2 a.m. Sunday, according to the medical examiner’s office.
