Firefighters remain at the scene of a fire that damaged an apartment building in San Francisco’s Potrero Hill neighborhood Thursday night, a dispatcher said.
Units responded to fire reported in an apartment near 23rd and Rhode Island streets around 9 p.m., according to the San Francisco Fire Department.
The one-alarm fire was declared under control by 10:30 p.m.
No one was injured, the dispatcher said.
Some residents were displaced by the blaze and were assisted with temporary housing by the American Red Cross.
Fire investigators were still trying to determine the cause.
