An 18-year-old man was fatally shot Friday night in San Francisco, a police spokesman said.
The shooting took place at about 11:30 p.m. near Geary and Lyon streets.
The victim, who was pronounced dead at about 1:40 a.m. at San Francisco General Hospital, was identified by the medical examiner’s office today as Ilya Yurchenkov. He lived in San Francisco.
A suspect is in custody, San Francisco police Officer Boaz Mariles said.
