BART officials said this morning that an unresolved power problem on train tracks between Glen Park and 24th Street stations is causing system-wide delays of up to 30 minutes on all trains.

A section of track apparently lost power beginning at around 4:50 a.m., requiring the first trains of the commute to be single tracked between Daly City and 24th Street, BART spokesman Jim Allison said.

Subsequent delays are affecting all BART lines heading in and out of San Francisco, Allison said. As of 6:15 a.m. there was no estimate to restore normal service.
BART crews are working to resolve the problem.
