Police-Line-Tape-Do-Not-Cross-psd6657.pngThe body of a 38-year-old man was found Thursday night in the waters off the coast of Crissy Field in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area in San Francisco, a National Park Service spokesman said today.

The body was spotted at about 10:20 p.m. near Crissy Field, according to park spokesman Michael Feinstein.

The body was eventually retrieved from the water by park officials and the Presidio Fire Department, Feinstein said.

The San Francisco medical examiner’s office identified the victim as Roland Tyler, a San Francisco resident.

The cause of Tyler’s death is under investigation.
