CounterPULSE is celebrating another year older, another year wiser with May Day, which includes three full evenings of sensory overload. With the goal to “keep the doors open and art thriving,” this year’s May Day will include over 30 of the Bay Area’s best and brightest coming together for “a one-of-a-kind experience.”

Tonight includes “The Agitprop Cabaret,” which will tickle your mind with “overtly political performers, from comics and burlesque dancers, to performance artists and historians.” Saturday night includes an installation-based labyrinth where the audience roams through performances of drag queens, and circus and action performers.

This all leads up to Sunday with “The Dance Extravaganza,” featuring top notch companies like AXIS Dance Company, Joe Goode Performance Group, Katie Faulkner, Margaret Jenkins Dance Company, KUNST-STOFF, Robert Moses Kin, ODC Dance, and Scott Wells & Dancers.

Each evening also includes a Silent Auction.
