plane.jpgFlights between San Francisco International Airport and Europe are cleared to resume normal service today, a duty manager said.

There were no cancellations at SFO of daily arrivals or departures from European cities as of 6:30 a.m., duty manager Jeff Littlefield said.

Carriers had canceled and rescheduled European service since a volcano in Iceland began erupting last week, prompting the closure of some European airports.

Travelers should check with individual airlines for schedules as not all flights are predicted to be on time, Littlefield said.
