KUNST-STOFF arts held its opening party literally at the close of 2009, and four months in, its ready to celebrate again.

This weekend, five nights will be shared between two programs. On March 25, choreographers like Sara Shelton Mann, Kathleen Hermesdorf, and Yannis Adoniou will present new dance works created through the new KUNST-OFF arts program. Adoniou’s work sounds especially intriguing. Titled The Disco Ball vs. The Endless Struggle of Bohemian Existence, this piece explores inner desires, and part of it is accompanied by Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody. A post-performance party follows, and I’ll be honest, partying with dancers and artists is a laidback and liberating experience.

The other three nights, Artistic Director Yannis Adoniou, backed by his dance company KUNST-STOFF, presents Disco Ball along with two other acclaimed works (one being Raqs al Moza, excerpted above).
