If you’re still celebrating Chinese New Year, consider heading over to the 4-Star Theater for a double feature of Hong Kong comedies. All’s Well, Ends Well and 72 Tenants of Prosperity are on the bill, guaranteed giggles.

Put this on your weekend calendar: free entry to the King Tut exhibition this Saturday and Sunday at the de Young Museum. Museum admission is also free so head out to Golden Gate Park. If you have time to kill while waiting for your Tut entry time, just walk through the nearby Botanical Garden. But be sure to mind the rules.

This Sunday at Fort Mason is “Wordup” Wine Tasting, a fundraising event for Friends of the SF Public Library which features winemakers of the Richmond District, Upper-Panhandle, and Presidio (that’s where “Wordup” comes from). Who knew, winemakers right in my backyard…

Heard of the Pho Garden Challenge? It happens at the Pho Garden Restaurant on Clement where diners dare to consume two pounds of pho in one hour. The prize? Besides a massive stomach ache, you earn serious bragging rights, a free meal and your 8×10 on the wall of champions crazies. Two big dudes went for it and filmed their adventure. Did they succeed?
