Brock and I went to see drag performer/dancer/renowned wit Monique Jenkinson‘s solo performance show Luxury Items, at CounterPULSE a few weeks ago not because we (I should say “I,” Brock is quite the brainiac) are consumers of avant-garde performance as much as because in the press notes said it contained “designer and counterfeit handbag puppets.” How could we not go with that as a feature? Right?

Well, we really liked the show, but we had many questions! So we asked Monique to come talk to us on our show about her show, and herself!

Will she dish the dirt on what it’s REALLY like to be Miss Trannyshack? Will she announce that she’s filing a lawsuit against Lady Gaga, who is clearly influenced by Jenkinson? Will she decide not to show up, leaving Brock and me to just talk to each other, since this writeup is so stupid?
