Kevin Montgomery hadn’t professionally blogged a word when he was asked to run popular local blog Mission Mission in the summer of 2009. He was beloved by some of that blog’s loyal readers, reviled by others.

After bringing the site to new heights of popularity (or so he claims!), he left to launch Uptown Almanac, a new site devoted to the Mission and beyond.

We’re going to talk to Kevin about what compelled him to start his own site in the very crowded SF blogosphere, what he’s learned since starting it, what stories Uptown Almanac is working on, and his take on the local media scene.

Expect SF online dirt to be dished, live at 4!
