4:40 PM: According to True, the woman struck by a 9 San Bruno this afternoon is in critical condition at SF General.

As of 4:17 p.m., True says, the accident had cleared and all buses returned to their regular routes.

True says that the driver, who’s been with the MTA for a decade, has been placed on non-driving status and is being tested for drugs and alcohol, per protocol.

4:22 PM: True says that the non-Muni accident blocking KT service has been cleared and regular service has resumed. No word on the status of the pedestrian hit by the 9 San Bruno or reroute to the lines in the accident area.

2:35 PM: There are two incidents disrupting Muni service this afternoon: MTA spokesperson Judson True tells the media that as 1:41 this afternoon, an outbound (southbound) 9 San Bruno hit a female pedestrian at San Bruno Avenue and Burrows Street.

True says that the SFFD has described her injuries as “life threatening.”

The 9 San Bruno, 9L San Bruno Limited, 8X Bayshore Express, and 8AX Bayshore Express are all being routed around the incident.

In the second incident, True says that as of 1:38 p.m., the outbound KT line is blocked on Ocean at Miramar by a non-Muni accident. Shuttle buses are providing outbound service instead.
