Elsewhere: Wharf handbag sellers targeted in counterfeit raid

Friend of the Appeal Mark Grissom spotted some “kinda grumpy feds” from the local branch of the US Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raiding several Wharf area businesses this afternoon.

The businesses are located at 2655 Taylor (home of the “F&L Gift Shop“), 2585 Taylor (a business called the L&J Fashion Company is located there) and 417 Beach (New Life Gift, anyone?).

Says Grissom, the agents were “unloading A LOT of boxes and packing them into other boxes,” presumably to confiscate them. We’ve called and left messages at the ICE field office, and will give you more details as soon as we have them.
