Previously: SFPD Searching For Suspects After Man Murdered In Sunset Home Invasion

The San Francisco medical examiner’s office this afternoon identified 44-year-old Ben Luo as the victim of a fatal shooting during a home-invasion robbery Wednesday evening in the city’s Sunset District.

Luo, of San Francisco, was shot at a home in the 2400 block of Moraga St. at about 5:45 p.m., according to police.

Police are searching for two suspects in the killing.

Police said two males wearing masks and armed with handguns entered the home, tied up nine other people, and shot Luo once in the chest.

Luo, who was not bound, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police provided no further description of the suspects and have not disclosed what, if anything, was taken from the victims.

No arrests have been made.

The shooting marks the city’s fifth homicide this year.
