The San Francisco Zoo will be closed today due to flooding and broken tree limbs from this morning’s storm, zoo officials said this morning.

The zoo’s operations and horticulture teams are working to clean up flooded areas and fallen branches, zoo spokeswoman Gwendolyn Tornatore said.

The storm did not cause any severe damage, she said.

The zoo plans to reopen Wednesday, operating on its regular winter hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
