4:05 PM (BCN): Crews have completed repairs to a gas line that ruptured in San Francisco earlier today and prompted a shelter-in-place warning at an elementary school, a PG&E spokesman said.

A third party contractor ruptured the 2-inch gas line at about 9:50 a.m. at Thomas More and Brotherhood ways, causing the shelter-in-place warning for a nearby church, golf course, assisted living facility and the St. Thomas More Elementary School, PG&E spokesman Joe Molica said.

The gas leak was capped at about 11:35 a.m. No one was injured and no evacuations were ordered, he said.

After capping the gas line, crews made final repairs and went door-to-door to each of the four facilities that lost gas to help the customers turn their gas back on, Molica said.

Everyone had service restored by about 2 p.m., he said.
