Police in San Francisco are investigating a shooting that took place in the city’s Mission District this morning.

Officers went to the 2800 block of 25th Street after a shooting victim walked into San Francisco General Hospital at around 3 a.m., police said.

The victim had been shot in the shoulder and chest and told police that the shooting took place on 25th Street.

The injury was not expected to be life threatening.

Suspect information was not immediately available.
