As much as I like to have nice things, in this goddamn town thieves want it too. So for every nice thing I have, I have a “beater” version: beater phone, beater laptop, beater bike, beater camera, beaterpod, beaterpad, etc., stuff that really looks like hell.

That home invasion was an Asian pimp house. The dude, XBXL, ran an X rated crib, and there were 9 other persons in the house during the invasion. See my other comment about the N Judah, where 9 is evil.

Concur about the home invasion. In addition to the nine people, there were apparently several closed circuit cameras outside. An obvious use for such cameras is to buzz in johns and screen out undesirables.

I also think it’s reasonable to theorize that the perpetrators were asian. Asians usually for the most part stick to robbing their own kind, which is not only commonly known in the asian community, as well as the Sunset, but has also been my personal experience. Asian run whorehouses in the Sunset have an all-asian clientele. It’s possible the perpetrators were former clients who robbed the place and then shot the pimp, who might have recognized them.

It doesn’t pass the kumbaya test, but it would be a good way to start.
