San Francisco police on Friday arrested a suspect in a San Francisco Municipal Railway bus robbery earlier in the month.

Monzell Harding, 18, of San Francisco, is suspected in a Jan. 15 robbery on a Muni 24-line bus on Divisadero Street. The robbery happened at about 5 p.m.

According to police, a male passenger was robbed of his iPod. The suspect fled at Divisadero and Ellis streets.

A distinctive tattoo on Harding’s hand, described by the victim, helped gang task force investigators apprehend him, police said.

He was taken into custody without incident at Turk and Scott streets, police said.

Harding was booked on suspicion of robbery and participation in a criminal street gang, and remains in custody, police said.
