A bevy of San Francisco notables will don their finest waiters’ garb at a gala event today to raise funds for teachers.

The Second Annual Tipping for Teachers Celebrity Waiter Dinner will feature such celebrities as former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown, San Francisco Giants COO and President Larry Baer and MC Hammer. Warren Hellman will be the head celebrity waiter and ABC7’s Nick Smith will serve as emcee.
