Previously: Parks Employee Discovers Decomposed Body In Golden Gate Park
The San Francisco medical examiner’s office has yet to identify a decomposed body found Wednesday in Golden Gate Park.
The office said today the body is believed to be that of a woman, but investigators have yet to determine her name or locate next of kin.
A park employee discovered the body at about 7:55 a.m. behind some bushes near Eighth Avenue and Fulton Street, according to police.
The cause of death is not immediately known, and police have not called it suspicious at this time.
