Here’s where we thank all the businesses who help support the Appeal by purchasing advertising. It’s thanks to them and to our loyal readership that the Appeal is able to grow (and, we hope, improve) month after month.
We know that some of you may not like seeing ads on the site, but without the revenue from those companies we’d be out of business. If you’re considering making a purchase, please consider rewarding the folks who help make this site possible by sending some of your disposable income their way.
Avalon Apartments: just the other day, one of our coolest friends told us they lived in an Avalon property and loved it. They’ve been one of our most loyal supporters so if you end up looking at an apartment of theirs, please tell them “thank you”.
Poker Junkie: It is, as they put it, a “site…for people who love poker.” We’ve been following their forums on those Amazing Race poker players, it’s been really fun and funny. We’re going to stop here because we don’t know much about poker, but every time we go to the site we learn a little more.
Cole Hardware: we’re so excited to have Cole Hardware as our first locally owned and operated advertiser. That whole “Shop Locally” thing is very important to us. Working with a company that realizes that advertising with locally owned newspapers is an important part of that equation is extraordinarily gratifying. The ad they’re running with us right now (keep watching for future sales and events!) is a 3-day After Thanksgiving Sale that starts Friday November 27th at 7am at any of their four convenient locations.
