Arson investigators are looking into a vehicle fire in San Francisco this morning, a San Francisco fire dispatcher said.

Firefighters responded to reports of a vehicle fire near 34th Avenue and Taraval Street in the city’s Parkside neighborhood at about 2:30 a.m., the dispatcher said.

There was no immediate indication that the fire, which was quickly extinguished, was connected to a series of car fires that plagued the city earlier this year.

The case is under investigation.
