The third annual San Francisco Women’s Policy Summit is bringing together policy experts and legislative, civic and community leaders today to develop a policy agenda around the issues that matter most to women and girls.

Targeted policy areas will include health care, governance and reform, affordable housing, domestic violence and human trafficking, event organizers said. After the summit, there will be a networking cocktail party.

The summit’s goals are to build networks, outline policy issues and encourage elected officials and candidates for office to support San Francisco women and their families.

The summit will be from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the 15th floor of the Merchants Exchange Building, 465 California St., San Francisco. The networking party will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Bank of America building’s Carnelian Room on the 52nd floor, 555 California St., San Francisco.
