The President’s Cup golf tournament at Harding Park is probably very exciting to golf fans (Budding Happy Gilmores: y/n?). For the rest of us, the competition means that a couple of roads will be closed, and Muni lines rerouted from 6 AM-7 PM from today through Sunday the 10th.

The road closures:

Herbst Road from Skyline Boulevard to Skyline Boulevard (not a typo, it curves around)
Skyline Boulevard between Great Highway and Lake Merced Boulevard
John Muir Drive (westbound only) from Lake Merced Boulevard to Skyline Boulevard

The 18 46th Avenue is going to be rerouted (you can see exactly how here). We’re told the 88 BART shuttle will also be rerouted — while we can’t find info on their service changes, friend of the Appeal Akit says that inbound (towards BART) service will remain unchanged, but outbound

“will be re-routed due to closure of westbound John Muir Drive. At southbound Lake Merced Blvd. and Skyline, bus will continue on Lake Merced, cross the Daly City border, turn right on John Daly Blvd., turn right on Skyline Blvd., cross San Francisco border, and turn right onto John Muir Drive eastbound.”

Good thing the main entrance for Stonestown is on 19th Ave. President’s Cup traffic shouldn’t be a problem for shoppers.
