I saw one of the new Prada mannequins on my way home yesterday and I had nightmares about it all night. But I have to admit it is truly new and fresh to find inspiration for a fashion line in horror movies. And when you think about it, Silence of the Lambs is the obvious go-to movie because it also penalizes heavy women.

I was also stunned to find a sexy Mrs. Freddy Kruger costume at the Halloween store but now I understand, horror as fashion must be the newest trend. And it only makes sense as the next step in model aesthetics, up ’til now models have only been dying of anorexia. In this iteration they are already dead from it, and as a result, probably less bitchy.

I can only hope that a full face of burn scars is cheaper than a face lift.
