There’s something morbid about Gavin Newsom Presents The Big Rumble. I’m trying to imagine “Where Were You on 9/11?” block parties marking the 20th Anniversary.

On Saturday, October 17th, folks all over the City of San Francisco will be rolling out their barbeques and world famous potato salads and throwing their own “Where Were You in ’89” Neighborhood Block Party! All events will be equipped with a Block Party Host Toolkit with tons of great tips on how to throw the perfect bash, and each Host will have a Host Kit, full of preparedness information, giveaways and games designed by the Bay Area Red Cross to help get people talking about preparedness. Find a party near you today!
