As I stutter say in the videos above and below (BETH HOW DO YOU DO THIS), locally produced science/nearly averted disaster show Mythbusters has its season 7 premiere this Wednesday. As with all things premiery, this means that the folks from the show were being trotted out to talk to the press, and we weren’t too proud to fall into that trap. We’re only human.

So we (Appeal staffer Tim Ehhalt VidSF‘s Taylor Rogers, and I) went out to M5 Industries, MythBusters co-host Jamie Hyneman’s one-time special effects house that’s now, almost exclusively, the MythBusters clubhouse.

VidSF’s Kieran Farr edited the footage down into two parts — the short and sweet tour you can watch below, and the long-ass (12+ minutes! Jesus) interview we did with them you can watch above. Tim took lots of pictures we’ll post eventually (we’ll tweet when we do). This might be the most exhaustively documented non-Muni event in Appeal history! Hope you can take the time to watch one, or both, and that you have fun.
