Last Saturday was Museum Day, but you can still finagle your way into free admission if you’ve got your dates right. Say wha? Organized by day of the week, the following guide is the ultimate lowdown for deal-seeking museum-goers in San Francisco. You better save this link, folks.

The Jewish museum is never free? Bummer, I wanted to take the kids for the Wild Things/Sendak exhibit.

I’ve never visited (the CJM) before but I really want to go! There’s actually free admission for kids, but you’ll have to pay. At $10, it’s pretty reasonable. From the website:

    Adults: $10
Seniors (65 and older) and students with a valid ID: $8
Members and youth 18 and under: Free
Thursdays after 5 PM: $5 for all visitors (free for children 18 and under and Members)

Admission includes entry to all galleries/exhibitions.
