sun_tour.jpgSan Franciscans have endured record high temperatures this last week. Allow me to rephrase. San Franciscans have endured cranking their space heaters up to record high temperatures this last week in an effort to survive the frigidness that swept the city and baffled residents and meteorologists alike.

But, then again, meteorologists are generally a baffled folk, particularly with regards to San Francisco. I imagine we could lessen some of the budgetary pressure on the local media by trading our meteorologists for a couple of magic 8 balls instead.

Regardless, here’s the National Weather Service’s forecast for this weekend–though I wouldn’t build your wardrobe around it.

Sunny, with a high near 74. Calm wind becoming west around 6 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 56. West wind between 5 and 8 mph.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 83. Calm wind becoming west between 4 and 7 mph.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 57. West southwest wind around 5 mph.
