Firefighters managed to safely rescue a man who slid about 100 feet off a trail at Fort Funston tonight, according to the San Francisco Fire Department.
The man’s wife reported that her husband and his dog slid down a slope at Fort Funston at about 7:30 p.m., according to the fire department.
A cliff rescue unit managed to pull the man and his dog to safety by about 8:15 p.m., according to the fire department. There was no report of injuries.
