Friend of the Appeal Steve Rhodes attended Friday’s foreclosure rally and caught these shots of the protest, and of Rev. Jesse Jackson. Steve tells us “Jackson said local groups will continue the protests with a focus on foreclosures in Antioch.”

9/18 3:09 PM (Bay City News): The Rev. Jesse Jackson is expected to join a rally at the Federal Reserve of San Francisco today calling for solutions to stem widespread foreclosures.

Jackson and other religious and community leaders are pushing for lenders to restructure loans to avoid foreclosures.

Jackson said in a statement that “comprehensive solutions” were needed to keep people in their homes.

A prayer vigil and rally is scheduled to begin at noon at 101 Market St.
