51gobMojpUL._SL500_AA240_.jpgGo ahead and make your own jokes, because we’re here just to report the news — one of the occupants of the silver Nissan SUV at the center of last week’s Muni crash was a local gay pornography studio owner and Castro District celebrity.

(NSFW, duh) Chris Ward, director and president of Raging Stallion Studios, was in the Nissan Pathfinder stopped behind an F-Market train at Market and Noe streets when the vehicle was struck from behind by a second F-Market train. Ward was transported to San Francisco General Hospital after the collision but, according to sources at City Hall, did not suffer any major injuries and was treated and released.

The Appeal had heard about Ward’s involvement in the accident sometime last week. Ward addressed television media on Monday morning in connection with the Board of Supervisors hearing on Muni safety.

According to such infallible sources as Wikipedia and gay porn review site Brad’s Reviews, Raging Stallion is one of the biggest adult film studios in the country and one of the most prolific gay porn studios in the world. The studio releases big-budget films — with a plot, no less — as well as, uh, shorter, uh, budget flicks, and, uh, put out some 22 movies in 2005 alone.
