What news items caught the attention of Ronn Vigh and the rest of the VidSF kids this week? Between Gavin Newsom’s assertions of Muni safety (made from the confines of a car, natch) and the concept of the talkative (not counting cell phones) Muni driver, this week in news was already surreal, but Ronn makes it surrealer.

I seriously WANT to find this funny. Really, I want you to be funny. So be funny aready. This just ain’t funny. Just a little more time spent on your jokes (and maybe a little better judgment when you ask yourself, “Is this really funny”) might go far in making this show better. Really, just think, “is this really funny” first before doing a bit, and if any part of you says, “…” then don’t do the bit and move on, and the show will get much better. Really. Be funny.

Around 4:00 this starts to work well when Ronn gets his evil smirk, indicating tasteless but funny jokes are ahead. I agree that the first few minutes were a bit too much teleprompter reading and not enough Ronn lovin’ the jokes himself.
