richardsonfrancisco.gifSFPD has sent out a “crime alert,” reporting that at 12:52 this morning, “an attempted Robbery occurred at the intersection of Richardson and Francisco Street.” From SFPD:

The victim was stopped at a red light when an unknown black male walked up to the driver’s side window and pointed a gun at the victim and demanded the victim’s vehicle.

The victim stepped on the accelerator and drove away from the suspect. As the victim drove away he saw what he believed to be a second suspect standing in the blind spot of the passenger side of his vehicle.

The victim in this incident was not injured. The suspect with the hand gun was described as a black male about twenty to thirty years old, 6’1 and about 170 lbs. The suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a black bandana with white embroidery that he wore over his face. There is no description of the second suspect.
